I hit a Muntjac on the way home from work in June and came off. Bike was a bit of a mess after a 50mph slide, but the cargo trousers were more than up to the test. Torn material, but not a scratch on the lining, and more to the point, not a scratch on me!

Owners of Hood Jeans, husband and wife team Chris and Julie Easterford, are the proud recipients of the first UKCA marked certificates awarded by SATRA Technology.
The ‘United Kingdom Conformity Assessed’ (UKCA) mark is the new conformity assessment mark for the UK and will need to be placed on products as a means of showing conformance with applicable UK legislation, by a UK Government Approved Body (such as SATRA).
The legislation came into force on 1st, January 2021 and manufacturers and suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) have a year to transition to this new certification system after which time the CE mark will no longer be recognised by the GB market.
