The jeans arrived yesterday and they are perfect; very comfortable on and off the bike and very ‘stealth’ – they passed the “worn about the house and nobody noticed they were riding jeans” test! The ability to specify the leg length is a real bonus – the standard 32” is too long for me but 30” (offered by only a few manufacturers) while fine off the bike is just a little too short on the bike. So, all in all, I’m a firm fan!

Owners of Hood Jeans, husband and wife team Chris and Julie Easterford, are the proud recipients of the first UKCA marked certificates awarded by SATRA Technology.
The ‘United Kingdom Conformity Assessed’ (UKCA) mark is the new conformity assessment mark for the UK and will need to be placed on products as a means of showing conformance with applicable UK legislation, by a UK Government Approved Body (such as SATRA).
The legislation came into force on 1st, January 2021 and manufacturers and suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) have a year to transition to this new certification system after which time the CE mark will no longer be recognised by the GB market.
