Hood Jeans Declarations of Conformity

Hood Jeans have been independently tested by SATRA Technology Centre in the UK and issued with EU type-examination certificates by SATRA Technology Centre in the UK (2018 K7 (S) production), SATRA Technology Europe, Dublin, Ireland (2019 K7 production) & SATRA Technology Europe, Dublin, Ireland (2021 SK11 & K7 (S) production). The 2021 Hood Jeans SK11 and K7 (S) jeans are also UKCA certified by SATRA Technology Centre (Approved Body 0321).

Hood Jeans are approved to the following European Standards:

K7/AAA (S) conforms to EN 17092-2:2020 Class AAA garments; Class AAA garments; the highest level of protection, against the highest level of risks. The AAA class has particularly high levels of abrasion resistance.

K7/B (S) conforms to prEN 17092-5:2020 Class B garments: Designed to provide the equivalent abrasion protection of Class A garments, but without the inclusion of impact protectors. Class B garments do not offer impact protection and it is recommended that they be worn with at least EN 1621-1 knee impact protectors installed in the jeans to offer complete minimum protection.

I received the order and the jeans are... fantastic! Purchasing online for the first time from an unknown supplier always entails some risk, but you have exceeded my expectations in the quality of the product, customer service and delivery timing.
The denim on my Hood Jeans had been ripped in numerous places but the K-tech para-aramid and D30 armour saved me from any injury.
I ordered a pair of your K7 jeans with the D30 knee & hip protectors at the beginning of the week and they arrived yesterday. I live in Normandy so already the speed of delivery impressed me but it doesn't stop there.
I just wanted you to know that while on tour in Spain last week, I dropped my Triumph Explorer at about 20 MPH, breaking my ankle and arm in the process. I had no road rash at all and the jeans were completely undamaged.
